Highlights of ACPGCON 2023, Daman

The most awaited conference cum annual meet, ACPGCON 2023 was a grand success with more than 100 delegates and full consistent participation on both days. The scientific program was flooded with new and innovative topics furnished by more than 30 faculties, including state, national, and international speakers.  

ACPGCON 2023 was organized by the Association of Chest Physicians of Gujarat on 1-2 April 2023 at Miramar Hotel, Daman, Gujarat.

Overview of Seminars:

During these two days, medical professionals spoke on their respective topics, along with other interactive sessions, debates, and panel discussions. Abstracts were also invited to present research studies and case reports in Pulmonary Medicine. All the sessions improved the knowledge of consultant pulmonologists and post-graduate students of respiratory medicine. 

Detailed Schedule:

Day 1: 

Day 1 started with delicious lunch and greetings to each other. 

The hall of the conference was packed with all passionate delegates who had attended the whole day program till 9 pm without taking any long breaks. 

Every session was well-tailored and precise. The poster presentation was carried out simultaneously in the different halls during the program so that students could also attend lectures and can present their posters. The last session of the oral presentation of students took ‌longer, ‌but still, it was carried out very smoothly. 

Day 1 ‌concluded at 9 pm, but still all delegates were so energetic that they ‌enjoyed their gala dinner with family members and made their musical night memorable. 

Day 2:

Day 2 was a real academic feast for every keen chest physician. So many discussions, debates, and questions were answered during the whole program which ultimately improved the knowledge of consultant pulmonologists as well as postgraduate students of Respiratory medicine.  

The program concluded with abundant knowledge, lots of fun, and delicious lunch. 

The annual meet served as a means of escape for the delegates from their busy everyday routines. Many of the attendees, who came from various regions of India, took the opportunity to explore the popular tourist destinations near Daman.

The individuals were ‌responsible for planning and executing this event were the members of the organizing committee.
