When does NEET UG Counselling take place?

The counselling takes place 15-20 days after the result of NEET-UG is declared. Students have to register on the Medical Counselling Committee’s official website to participate in the NEET UG Counselling.

How do I apply for NEET UG Counselling?

NTA (National Testing Agency) conducts NEET UG and publishes the score, while MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) looks after the counselling. You need to register at MCC’S website when the counselling begins.

Which precautions should we take while filling out choices?

You need to divide your choices based on the below factor

  • Place (Which state - City you will like to go)
  • Fees (Lower to higher fees range)
  • Infrastructure (Best- Average)
  • Based on your list, you will be able to select the colleges of your choice.

Which are the most common mistakes students make during counselling?

Many times students make mistakes while entering their name or their parent’s name which creates a glitch at the time of admission. Always feed your data, in the same manner, the way you did at the time of your registration in NTA.

What are the different documents required at the different stages of counselling?

Always keep original as well as Xerox copies of the below-given documents, we advise you to make 5 sets of these documents.

There is no option for uploading your document in AIQ, you need to physically go to the college and submit your documents.

After I join the college via the second round of counselling (15% AIQ), Can I leave/resign to join the state quota/private college seat?

No, once you take admission and fulfill the submission of the necessary documents during your second round then you can not opt for either the next round of AIQ or upcoming rounds conducted via state quota.

In the AIQ counselling after the completion of 4 rounds, you will get a refund in your original payment source. While in state counselling, you need to check with the particular state’s guidelines on how you’ll receive your deposit amount back.
