Certificate Courses in Naturopathy 

Those interested in human anatomy, physiology, naturopathic & modern diagnostics, nutrition & herbology, yoga therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, and other related topics should enroll in this course. Candidates for this course must have a qualifying degree from a 10th or 12th grade, as it is required. The prerequisites, however, may differ from one academy to the next. 

Certificate courses in naturopathy typically last 3 to 6 months and can be completed after graduation. It's similar to a short-term specialized course for candidates with a background in health sciences. Both online and offline Naturopathy Certificate Courses are available. 

Diploma Courses in Naturopathy 

  • Diploma and PG Diploma in Naturopathy is a brief course. It is possible to take it as a specialized course. Candidates with a healthcare background, such as Ayurveda or paramedical, are eligible to apply for these courses. 
  • Diploma in Naturopathy is a one-year program that can be undertaken after completing grades 10 or 10+2, depending on the institute offering the program. Candidates from all fields are eligible to apply. 
  • To be considered for admission to the course, applicants must be at least 18 years old and in the pink of their health. The program does not require an entrance examination. 
  • PG Diploma in Naturopathy is a one-year program that can be undertaken after completing any Bachelor's degree program. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum grade point average of 45 percent.

Degree Courses in Naturopathy 

The undergraduate program in Naturopathy (also known as BNYS) is a 3 to 4.5-year integrative medicine program. A one-year rotatory residential internship is also required as part of the program. Candidates can pursue this course after their 12th standard with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates in the reserved category are given a 5% relaxation. Graduates of this program can operate as registered naturopathic physicians. Naturopathy bachelor's degree programs are available at many medical and Ayurvedic universities. 

Bachelor's degree programs in Naturopathy are available in B. Sc. and BA too, to candidates interested in pursuing a career in integrative medicine. 

Master Courses 

There are two types of courses under the master's section: MSc and MA. The course duration of such courses is around 2 years and the degree is pursued after completing a master’s degree. An average fee for these courses ranges between INR 10K - 50K per annum. 

Doctorate Courses 

There are only a few institutes that offer doctorate degrees in naturopathy and the course duration is in between 3-5 years this degree is pursued after completing a master's in neuropathy or M.Phil. degree in neuropathy and the average fee for this course is approx. INR 50K - 3 lakh per annum.
