Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) is a degree program that prepares students to work in pharmacy retail, distribution, research, and manufacturing. It is a prerequisite for pursuing a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) in a variety of pharmaceutical areas and specialties.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) is a licensing degree course to practice in pharmacy retail, distribution, research, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is a minimum qualification required to pursue a Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in different pharmaceutical disciplines and specialties. Students can pursue it after 12th study completion. PCI regulates the issuance and renewal of Pharmacy Licenses in India, through different state pharmacy councils.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have completed 12th Science study with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Students should have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. Students who have passed the 3 years Diploma in Pharmacy are also eligible for the course.
Remarks: Pharmacy colleges in different states follow their own admission rules, seat distribution, and eligibility criteria defined by state admission authorities. Aspirant students are advised to also review individual college guidelines.
