BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. It is an undergraduate 

degree course. This course is about medical knowledge of the homeopathic system. The duration of the BHMS course is 5½ years which includes 4.5 years of study and 1 year of internship. 

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery or BHMS is a graduate degree course in homeopathy that gives the knowledge of homeopathic medicine. This is practiced by homeopaths who are qualified and have great experience to prescribe medications as per their diagnosis. After completion of the degree, students are eligible to become doctors in the homeopathic medicine field and they can open their clinics too.

They are also considered safe to consume because they are given in very tiny doses.   • In BHMS the basic requirement for getting admission is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% Marks. 
  • The candidate must have physics, chemistry, and biology as their core subjects.

  • The minimum age of candidates should be 17 years old and a maximum of 24. 
  • Some colleges conduct group discussions and personal interviews as a part of the selection.
