The medical stream, contrary to popular belief, is equivalent to an MBBS degree. This has never been the case and is just a result of the general public's short-sightedness. So, if you want to pursue a career in medicine, becoming a doctor isn't your only option. MBBS and BDS are not the only alternatives for medical students; there are a variety of other courses available.
